Do you want to be there with us and move Shoptet forward? Shoptet is changing the way how the product team is working and is looking for a leader of the design team. As the Head of Product, your task will be to lead the transformation of the Shoptet product.

Your mission

Our mission is to remove barriers to starting an online business. Our vision is to make starting an e-commerce business so easy that all you need is an idea, some energy, and we’ll take care of the rest. As you can imagine, this is a challenging goal for the future, but we are confident that it can be achieved within a few years. The key component of this vision is design, which will empower those who previously couldn’t sell online to achieve their first successes. We are looking for someone to lead our design initiatives, fulfilling our product vision and transforming the day-to-day lives of tens of thousands of people. Your job won’t only be about removing barriers, but also about improving the lives of 50,000 monthly active users across three countries by making their daily tasks more efficient.

Our situation

• We are looking for ways to establish a stable design process.
• We have only feature teams at this moment.
• Your responsility will be hiring and leading of a small team.
• Most of the opportuniies we deal with are not thoroughly examined.
• The product is robust but carries technical debt.

We are intensively addressing this situation and have full support from the company´s leadership.

Our expectations:

• Help with building of small design team and its management.
• Adoption of design process - you will become integral part of the workflow.
• You have knowledge of how to evaluate and continuously improve the UX maturity of product teams.
• You understand that the mindset shift from outputs to outcomes does not happen overnight.
• You are skilled at arguing your points and don't back down easily. You will participate in implementing UX metrics.
• Working in a remote environment is not a problem for you, but you are also willing to be present in the office.
• You understand that part of your job may involve delivering uninformed decisions temporarily.
• You will receive the necessary support for your activities, which will be a mutual investment.
• Fluent Czech or Slovak, advanced English language.
