Your Mission

As a developer on our team, your mission will be to help us achieve our overall company mission of enabling entrepreneurs to build and grow successful e-commerce businesses. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining REST API which processes more than 40 millions requests per day and is used by our partners and partners of e-shops.

Your work will ensure that our platform is the best in class, enabling our customers to succeed in their ventures. By building and refining the technical infrastructure that powers our platform, you will be helping to fulfill our vision of making it easy for anyone with an idea and a passion to build a successful e-commerce business. As we continue to expand our presence in the CEE region, your contributions will be essential to achieving our goal of becoming the #1 e-commerce platform in the region.

What will be your agenda?

• You would focus on developing and maintaining the various aspects of the team’s agenda.
• You would ensure that your work is aligned with the team’s overall objectives and that you are meeting the required deadlines for each task.
• You will be working on REST APIs covered with end-to-end tests, marketplace or backend of our e-shops.
• You will or could spend time with optimization (SQL, PHP code) as speed and efficiency are important to us.
• Additionally, you would be proactive in identifying potential areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to enhance the team’s performance.

Our tech stack:

• PHP (Nette, Symfony), MariaDB Galera Cluster, Redis, KeyDB, Elastic Search, Gitlab and GitlabCI, Github and GithubCI.
• We use Jira for project management
• We do peer code review, we like PHPStan.
• We work in two weekly sprints, deploying twice a week.

Our expectations:

• We are looking for a skilled developer who has experience in working with the technologies relevant to our team’s agenda, such as PHP (Nette, Symfony), MariaDB Galera Cluster, Redis, KeyDB, Elastic Search, Gitlab and GitlabCI, Github and GithubCI and others.
• We expect our developer to be proactive in identifying potential issues and providing solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems.
• Native Czech/Slovak, advanced English language.
