You will be part of our IT Department, represented by our CTO Borek Bernard. You’d also closely work with Denis Chripák, our Frontend Team Lead who’d be your partner on all things frontend and developing Multishop front-end (Martin Jagr).
What will be your agenda:
- At the beginning, you’ll work on a microsite to promote a new feature/product by Shoptet
- But further on, you’ll mostly work on the front end of the product/feature itself, this work consists of the development of a React-based admin interface to manage online store settings and products
- This job is about the long-term development and improvement of a single product, our online store platform
- You’ll cooperate daily with a product manager, a designer, and backend developers in the product team
- Our team is remote, therefore, we use quite a few tools to communicate
- The main tools are Slack for written communication, Microsoft Teams for video calls, and Slab as a wiki of our work
- We host the code and perform code reviews on GitHub
- And then we use GitHub Projects for task management
- The design is kept in Figma
- You’ll also collaborate with a central design system team of frontend developers to develop and use our own React components
- They keep a recurring meeting to spread the knowledge about the usage of React and design system components in our company
Who are we looking for:
- 3+ years of professional experience with React
- Code in TypeScript, deep knowledge of HTML and DOM, writing styles using LESS in BEM methodology and modern CSS (e.g. custom properties)
- Knowledge about HTTP, AJAX, APIs, and how to connect them with a frontend application
- You’ll be the only frontend developer on the product team, so you have to be able to work independently, yet you’re expected to collaborate with a central design system team, who will review your code
- You cover your code with automated tests.

Our story
14 years ago, our founders wanted to fulfill a pretty simple dream - to start an e-shop. But they found that there was no simple solution on the market.
