What will be your agenda?

SRE team works on finding weaknesses / non-optimized parts of our application. Implement paths to observe them and try to find solution for better performance or stability

• Implementing metrics into our application (Prometheus)
• Observability of application (Kibana / OpenSearch + Grafana)
• Design improvements in stability and performance

Our Tech Stack:

• Partially bash (maybe moving into Deno)
• Kind of “Kanban style” – we have 30min sync every Monday
• GitHub
• OpsGenie (observing auto-incidents)

Who are we looking for:

At this moment SRE team is covered by two Shoptet-experienced (4+ years) people who know the application and the whole platform very well. On the other side, we are missing someone SRE-experienced who can help us understand how to “see & read” metrics.

• Coming up with new ideas not only about observability & performance improvements
• Finding performance or stability issues by themselves
• Someone who has experience with SRE staff such as observability, discoverability & stability

Our story

14 years ago, our founders wanted to fulfill a pretty simple dream - to start an online store. But they found that there was no simple solution on the market.
